Rick Ross’ Canalside Concert Still On Schedule As Planned

The Rick Ross concert at Canalside is still on as planned. The multi-platinum recording artist is scheduled to hit Canalside July 18.

Event organizers said “it’s almost 4 months away. We don’t know what’s going to happen even a month from now. It’s too early to make any changes”.

Although the show is still scheduled as planned, officials will continue to monitor the situation as it gets closer. “Health is a main priority and we will address this as it gets closer to the event, but for now we’ve been getting a lot of people asking and it’s on as planned. Worst case, it would get a new date.”

Organizers spoke to Rick Ross’ team this week and they confirmed that he’s in Miami, currently practicing ‘social distancing’ and hopes to be able to still perform in Buffalo.

Even with the current health crisis, tickets have been selling at a very fast pace. VIP tickets sold out back in early March. General Admission is currently on sale for $20 on

“People are definitely still buying tickets. They want to see Rick” organizers added.
