Moe Badger, one of Buffalo’s “Singing Cops”, met with protesters today in downtown Buffalo, and sang and prayed with them.
Badger, sang the hymn, “We Shall Overcome”, after Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood and Deputy Commissioner Barbara Lark addressed the protesters as well.
Badger, became known last year when he was featured along with singing cop partner, Michael Norwood, on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Both Badger and Norwood are both highly respected and well know for their community outreach as part of the Buffalo Police Department.
