Cuomo Again Appeals Loss To Bars; Heads To Court April 5 To Fight To Keep Curfew In Place

94 bars and restaurants can stay open until 4am, for now. The others, may have to wait a little longer to stay open past 11pm.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has once again appealed the ruling that allowed certain bars to stay open and ruled his executive order unconstitutional.

The case will go before Supreme Court Judge Patrick NeyMoyer April 5. Cuomo, The NYS Department of Health and the NYS Liquor Authority had sought an immediate revocation of the restaurant win, but that was denied, and the new date was scheduled.

The current action by the Governor leads many to believe Cuomo has no intentions of removing the curfew anytime soon, despite many bars and restaurants still continuing to struggle in New York State.
