ANOTHER WIN: Pharaoh’s Gentleman’s Club Defeats New York’s Covid Ban On Exotic Dancers

There’s a lot of winning going on in Buffalo lately, and it’s not just by the Buffalo Bills.

Pharaoh’s Gentleman’s Club in Cheektowaga, has been given the green light for exotic dancers. This comes after receiving a permanent injunction against New York State by a Supreme Court Judge.

The injunction will allow them to re-open with exotic dancers, which the State Liquor Authority, had prohibited them from doing.

Peter Gerace, owner of Pharaoh’s said he wasn’t allowed dancers, even though he had set up glass partitions between tables and the stage and took numerous other safety precautions.

Law firm HoganWillig who represented Gerace, argued that those rules were baseless and the exotic dancer ban was put into place without any evidence or justification supporting it.

The state was also not able to provide any data showing that any cases had come from Pharaoh’s.

The club has been closed under “orange zone” restrictions. Gerace is also involved in the lawsuit that will challenge those restrictions this Friday.
