Buffalo, N.Y. (Friday, July 2, 2021) — Eventage Live, and the Buffalo Waterfront Group have announced Rick Ross will officially take the stage on Saturday, August 7, 2021. The show was originally scheduled for July of 2020 but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The rescheduled date was announced back in September 2020 but only recently received the green light from state and local health officials.

Labeled the hottest MC in the game, Rick Ross is a rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur and founder of Maybach Music.  Rick Ross has many chart-topping hits, including 2020 Grammy Nominated song “Gold Roses,” featuring Drake.

With Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s announcement that COVID-19 restrictions are lifted—including social gathering limits, capacity restrictions, social distancing, cleaning and disinfection, health screening, and contact information for tracing at commercial settings—state and local authorities have given the green light for the show to take place as planned, August 7, 2021.  Unvaccinated individuals continue to be responsible for wearing masks, in accordance with federal CDC guidance.

The concert will now take place at the Lakeside Event Complex, located at 825 Fuhrmann Blvd, not Canalside. Gates open at 5:00PM. All previously purchased tickets have been automatically transferred to the new date. Ticket holders do not need to do take any further actions as their previously purchased tickets will be honored.

Concert goers should anticipate encountering the same security procedures as past shows at Canalside. Smoking, outside food and beverage, weapons, umbrellas and bicycles are not allowed inside the concert venue. Chairs will also not be permitted.

Limited tickets remain, although due to the postponement, the show is currently over 50% sold out. Remaining tickets can be purchased only through Eventbrite.com. The promoter warns against purchasing from any third-party site or seller, as ticket validity can only be guaranteed directly from Eventbrite.

For those planning to attend the show, carpooling and ridesharing is recommended due to limited on-site parking at 825 Fuhrmann Blvd. There will be ample parking available at 325 Fuhrmann Blvd (250 yards away), as well as on-street parking along Fuhrmann Blvd.

Anyone with questions about the show can contact Eventage Live at [email protected].
